Ab, Baaki Charcha with Srijanatmak Manushi Sanstha - 26 September

MenEngage Delhi in collaboration with Mittika has started reaching out to different communities living in Delhi through the Forum Theater. On a hot day in September, as a grassroots engagement MenEngage Delhi reached out to the residents of Mandawali, an urban slum located in west Delhi, through Mittika and Srijanatmak Manushi Sanstha (SMS). Intrductory chanting by members of the Forum Theatre group garnered interest among the people living in the area, and this interest was soon transformed into active participation. The theatre group through its powerful performance raised important questions on societal norms and regulations. Questions on the stereotypical perception of our society about a woman and her role were raised and it resonated in particular among the female audience's experiences. 

A small poster making session was also conducted, generating a whole plethora of poster messages by young kids.
